Meet the Administrative Team, whose goal is to fulfill the supporting needs of the patients, their families and their Family Dental Office. They work behind the scenes to assist you with your financial and insurance needs and other office communications. Their experience and knowledge helps assure you receive the highest level of service from professionally trained and friendly staff members.

Karla Britain, Office Manager, joined our Fry Orthodontic team in 1982 as a Certified Dental Assistant. For over 25 years she has been helping patients get the best orthodontic care possible in a fun and friendly environment. Karla has two daughters who are attending college at K-State and Baker University. She shares her home with her husband, the family cat and their German Shepherd. She enjoys spending time with her girls and large family, reading, working on her landscaping and cheering on the Chiefs and Cornhuskers!   It’s rewarding for Karla to use her skills to help with the organization of the office, hiring and training of the staff and finding ways to make orthodontics fun for patients in the community.  Karla is proud of the quality of our team and our standards of excellence and works hard to make sure that we always exceed the expectations of our patients and their families.  If you ever find we fall short of meeting your expectations, please call her personally at 913-469-9191.

Michele, Patient Accounts Manager, has been part of our Fry family since 1997. A graduate of Brown Mackie College, Michele uses her skills to assure that all patients’ financial goals are met and their insurance benefits are received. You can count on Michele to work hard to assist you with any questions you may have about your treatment account, payment plan or your orthodontic insurance. She spends her time outside of work with her husband watching her daughter and son play a variety of sports and also enjoys hunting, fishing and reading. Michele appreciates working with such a great staff and loves the flexible work hours that allow her to spend time with her family.

Shaulene, Administrative Assistant, has been with Fry Orthodontic Specialists since 2000 but has over 15 years of dental office experience. Shaulene meticulously assures that the written correspondence needed to guide a patient through treatment is successfully completed. She gladly ensures the many outstanding Kansas City dental offices receive the necessary documents they need to guarantee their patients are receiving the best orthodontic care possible. Shaulene is the proud mother of one college-age son and keeps busy running, riding her bike and  reading.  She enjoys spending time with her close family and is a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Shaulene is definitely a people-person and enjoys the close personal service she is able to provide to patients, parents and the people she works with.

Bethanie, Administrative Assistant, became part of our team in 2005 and is proud to help provide the outstanding and friendly service for which Fry Orthodontic Specialists is known. When you call for your free first visit, you may hear the welcoming voice of Bethanie or our other Administrative Assistants. Bethanie enjoys working with our new patients in the process of setting up their financial arrangements and making sure their first appointments to begin treatment run smoothly. A Wildcat at heart, She graduated from K-State with a Bachelor of Science in Life Span Human Development and a Minor in Spanish. Bethanie is married and enjoys gardening, running, riding her bike, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She also shares her singing and piano-playing talents in the band at Fellowship Bible Church.

Linda, Administrative Assistant,brought her happy energy and years of serving others to Fry Orthodontics in 2007. Her many talents, knowledge and personal touch help to make sure our three locations in Overland Park, Olathe and Blue Valley all run efficiently and that we are able to provide you with excellent service at every appointment. She provides many of the services that are necessary to keep our entire staff happy and focused on patient care. Linda is married and the mother of three boys who keep her busy when she is not working at the office. A great parent, with extra love to share, she also volunteers as a Foster Parent. She loves to travel, garden and spend time with her family and friends. Linda’s dedication to all aspects of Fry Orthodontics is greatly appreciated by all.
