I am thankful first and foremost for my family. Especially for my two children, Dane and Ella Rose for the inspiration to live my dreams of making music come alive for all the children of the world. I am thankful for the children in the world who get excited about learning and participating in music and movement. I am also thankful for not only the people, but the families who understand the importance of family friendly entertainment across the globe, and that it does exist; right here in Kansas City. You guys Rock!

And another thanks to Fry Orthodontics for all they do to bring happiness and better smiles to children and their families too!

Rockin Rob.

I am thankful for the inspiration of my soon-to-be 106-year-old grandmother who never ceases to amaze me. No matter what I have been through in life, I know she has experienced far more, either in the form of adversity or in the form of abundance, and she has always prevailed with a generous spirit, a thankful heart, and an unparalleled enthusiasm for life. And…she STILL has all of her teeth! What a model patient she would be for the specialists at Fry Orthodontics…and I am grateful for those folks, as well! They go above and beyond in terms of customer service.

Also, I am grateful for my husband and my three sons. Despite the loads of laundry and endless errands and cleaning, they still make me laugh and appreciate who they are in the world.

I am thankful for my beautiful family, and my wonderful friends and the great community and country in which we live. Even though we are all experiencing tough times, we still share our love and support with one another as well as the promise that we will all overcome the hurdles we face. At times when I feel down, I stop and look around and realize compared to many places we are extremely fortunate.

I am also greatful that when I told my 12 year old daughter she was going to visit the orthodonist she was happy and excited and said she was not afraid and they treated her nicely. Thanks for the compassion and caring you show my children!

I am also thankful for having great orthodontics who help me take care of my teeth!

I am thankful for having the opportunity to raise my children. I have three kids whom I adore. My first love though, is the reason I am thankful for this year. More specifically to have a teenager that is back at home. He left home prematurely and I really missed him. He finished high school but has taken a semester off from college. We are very close to each other because we grew up together. You see I was a teen mother when he was born. He is one of my strengths and inspirations in life. He gave me drive when I wanted to drop out of high school. He was the reason I went to college. We have had tough times this past year. We are living with some bad choices and consequences. I am thankful to have a healthy, smart and affectionate young man as my son . Dr. Jeremy, thank you for working with us when he had his braces. When we moved from Los Angeles to Kansas City we didn’t have the connections we needed, you told us not to worry. God went before us lining up the right people, arranging the right breaks, and setting up the right opportunities. Thank you!

After the passing of our oldest son, it has been difficult for my younger boys to find passion in their life again. My youngest auditioned for entertainment at Disney World, passed the audition and moved to the Happiest Place on Earth. It was here after seeing him perform in shows and parades that I saw that passion he once had before the loss of his brother. I could see the sparkle in his eyes and the true delight for once again entertaining others. Disney has truely been a magical place for him and for that I am truely thankful.

I am thankful for so many things! I am thankful for a loving family and many friends. Especially thankful for my loving and kind-hearted husband and healthy, happy and smart child. I am thankful to have the ability to comb my own hair, the ability to drive and walk down the street. The list goes on and on!!! I am most thankful for being a child of God.

P.S. I am also thankful that Dr. Jeremy Fry is my child’s orthodontist. I know that he (and the entire staff of Fry Orthodontics) will take excellent care of all my child’s orthodontic dental needs!

I’m thankful for having such wonderful friends and family in my life. Without them I would be nothing. Too often I have forgotten to say thank you for the little things when I was consumed with my perceived, larger problems. So, here’s to a few of you, “Thank you.”

I am thankful for the safe-home advocates who tirelessly continue to serve women (like me) that need the extra loving and support to make a difference to improve their family life and leave abusive home situations. The road is long and windy, but I am thankful to them everyday. Especially when I see my children smile at the bright futures they have in store because our circumstances have greatly changed over the past several years. God Bless.

First of all I am thankful for my family and my life. Some times my life can be hard but I can find my way out of it with my friends and family. I am also thankful for school so kids my age and in college can learn what to do with their lives when they grow up and get out of colllege and enter the new world of working. I am so times thankful for my pets because sometimes they just get on my nerves but also sometimes they know when I am sad or need comeferting and they are there to help me through it. That is also where friends come in too. They help you through and help you solve problems. One of the most thankful things I am thankful for is you. You helped my mom know what you guys were going to do to my teeth and why you were going to do it. And most of all you didn’t make it hurt that much but sometimes it did but most of the time it didnt hurt at all and that is what I am thankful for very much. Oh and also I am thankful for God for sending Jesus for dieing to forgive our sins. And for helping my mom get through when she thought that the holes in my heart wouldn’t heal but they did because of the help of God and Jesus. And most of all I am thankful of is that I am alive and getting my braces off soon YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That are the things I am most thankful for.

love,
Miranda Godsey

Dear, Dr. Jeremy

I am thankful for a lot of things this year. First of all, because God blessed me in a very powerful, and healthy way. I am thankful because my father finally got released from the hospital, and even though his liver disease is killing him. I know that he is saved. Its a miracle he’s even with us right now. God changed me this year, he made me a vegetarian, and brought my parents together as a couple again. I am thankful for this year because God has made me a stronger christian. I am also thankful for having these wonderful braces, and being able to recommend so many friends to get them. I appreciate what God has done in my life, for my friends, family, and Fry Orthodontics. I would love to have the chance to win this guitar because honestly I love to sing and play the guitar. I make guitar covers all the time, and that would help me a lot at my church.

Thank you so much Dr. Jeremy, and Fry Orthodontics (:

Much Love-
Diana Zuniga

I am thankful for my grandpa who has done a really awesome job getting better from his leg amputation in May. He lost his leg on my mom’s birthday and he was really sad he had to have that done on that day. He is sad that he cannot walk sometimes, but I am so thankful his surgery was good and he is here. He moved here from California last year, just to be by me so he could do things with me. I try to do things with him to cheer him up because he cannot come out and do things with me like he wants to. I am thankful for the time you take to do fun stuff for Fry Orthodontics kids and families. This is the coolest contest I ever saw. Thanks!

First off, I would like to say I’m thankful for my family. I’m also thankful that my parents are doing ok health wise. It seems its one thing after another with them since they are getting older and I’m the oldest so I try to do my best and make sure they have everything they need and help them with the chores that need to be done around the house. Plus try to take care of my family at home. My husband is the best. He tries to help me with my parents when I need him the most. I’m so thankful that I got it right the second time around. (2nd marriage). My daughter is the one that makes all the noise in the house with her stereo blasting to Miley Cyrus. She puts on the wig and goes to town. She is so special. She just got accepted into the phit kids clinic at Childrens Mercy so they can help her with her cholesterol and diabetes. She is 8 years old. It is sad but it could be worse so I’m thankful for her and I’m so glad she is mine. And I am also thankful for the rest of my family. I have 3 step daughters that I consider my own. And 4 grand babies that are one of the best things in the world. Anyway, I’m also thankful for fry making it affordable for me to go from invisual line that didnt turn out like we thought to regular braces. Wasnt sure about them since I’m 41 years old but some how you guys talked me into it and I can already see a difference in just 1 1/2 weeks. So I’m glad I did it. I already recommended several people to you guys when its their turn to do the braces. Thanks guys!

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes seven years ago. I was only six years old and could not figure out why nurses kept sticking needles into me. My family and I had no idea what diabetes was, we knew no one with it and hadn’t read about it. I was in the hospital for three days. I am so thankful for the support my family gave and they still do. I go to school everyday and feel different, because I am. I go to the nurses everyday at school, three times a day. When you can’t do things because of something that is now always a part of your life, it becomes a little sad. My family though, is always there. They know when my blood sugar is out of wack, they stay up late into the night when I get sick, and they always know how to make me feel happy. I went through a tough patch seven years ago, but no longer does my diabetes control my life. My family is the reason that I am succseful, happy, and still with them.

Kieran SedlacekDecember 15th, 2010 at 9:37 pm

The easy answer is Jesus. I would have nothing to be thankful for if He hadn’t lived and died for me.
The harder answer, or at least the longer one:
My mom’s cancer has not come back.
My dad has a job, lots of dads (and moms) don’t.
I have a roof over my head, clothes to wear, food to eat.
I feel a little guilty knowing that the amount of money my parents spent on my braces is what a normal family in Zimbabwe can would earn over 15 years! $300/yr is what a normal family makes.
That same money would drill a well and make an entire bathroom too…in Africa.
So all in all, I’m very thankful, for everything God has given me…and I’m especially thankful to be an American.
